Your treating physician will carefully evaluate your condition to determine which injuries are work-related and which are not. Workers’ compensation insurance will not pay for non-work-related injuries that are treated at the same time as work-related injuries. You can seek treatment immediately, but only treatment through an approved doctor will be reimbursed. You also have the right to request a new treating physician, but must submit your request to the Division office and must choose a replacement from the ADL.
